🚨 Mega First CDR Deal Alert!! 🚨

In a deal worth $31.6 million, Frontier has announced an offtake agreement with Hafslund Celsio for 100,000 tonnes of CDR.

The tonnes will be removed from Hafslund Celsio's facility in Oslo, Norway, which is also the first-ever retrofit of a waste-to-energy facility to deliver carbon removal.

🚚 The tonnes will be removed between 2029 and 2030.

🆕 This is Hafslund Celsio's first durable CDR deal to date.

⬆ Hafslund Celsio is the latest entrant on the CDR.fyi Suppliers Leaderboard, debuting at 19th.
