🚨 Big CDR Deals Alert! 🚨
🤝 Capgemini has signed two long-term offtake agreements with Charm Industrial and Climeworks for 29,500 tonnes of CDR.
The deals are part of Capgemini’s 2040 net zero goal and commitment to neutralize 10% of its final residual emissions through high-quality carbon removal solutions.
🌎 Charm Industrial will remove 16,500 tonnes of CO2 while Climeworks will remove 13,000 tonnes as part of the agreements with Capgemini.
✨ These are Capgemini’s first durable CDR deals recorded by CDR.fyi to date.
🌱 In addition to this, Capgemini has also signed deals to invest in nature based solutions across reforestation and regenerative agriculture recently.
🎯 Capgemini is one of the first companies to have its net-zero targets validated by the SBTi, back in 2016.
🛠 The agreement with Charm will support the development of its Colorado-based production facility.
🆕 At 26th, Capgemini is the newest entrant on the CDR.fyi Purchasers Leaderboard.
