🤝 JPMorganChase has signed an offtake agreement with CO280 for 450,000 tonnes of CDR.

🚚 The tonnes from the project will be delivered over 13 years at a price of under $200/tonne.

🌳 SLB Capturi will supply the carbon capture technology for this project.

🌎 The agreement underscores JPMorgan Chase's confidence in CO280’s approach to scaling permanent CDR by retrofitting existing pulp and paper mills to capture biogenic CO2 from boiler stack emissions for permanent geological storage.

👩‍🏭 The deal supports the pulp and paper mills industry which directly employs 900,000+ people in the US.
