🚨 Large CDR Deal Alert for 37,000 tonnes! 🚨

🤝 SAP has signed a new multi-year agreement with Climeworks Solutions for 37,000 tonnes of durable carbon removal through its portfolio of solutions.
The agreement is part of SAP's broader decarbonization strategy, aligned to SBTi's Corporate Net Zero Standard and focused on reducing emissions across its operations and supporting the growth of high-quality carbon removal technologies.

🚚 As part of the agreement, the tonnes will be delivered in 2034.

🌱 Climeworks will remove CO2 for SAP through a portfolio of Direct Air Capture, Biochar, and Enhanced Rock Weathering, tailored specifically to SAP's business context.

📊 Climeworks and SAP have initiated a co-creation process for ERP-based carbon management, with Climeworks adopting SAP's solutions to scale operations.

🆕 This is SAP's first recorded durable CDR deal on CDR.fyi to date.
