The CDR.fyi Platform provides trusted insights & analytics on durable CDR orders, projects, and financings across the carbon removal market. CDR.fyi is used by various stakeholders across the industry, from suppliers and purchasers to investors, NGOs, policymakers and the media. We aim to deliver the transparency that creates a foundation of trust and to help drive progress across the sector.

Our Journey

CDR.fyi was launched as an open-source project in 2022 by Robert Höglund and Kevin Niparko, with contributions from passionate supporters like Chris Nixon. In 2023, Alex Rink and Tank Chen joined the team to help put the organization on the path to sustainability. In January 2024, we incorporated CDR.fyi as a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), with Alex stepping into the CEO role. The PBC structure reflects our commitment to pursuing our mission of accelerating carbon removal in a financially sustainable manner.
